What I read in September
Nora Ellis
A short list, because September was busy and most of my reading happened on the bus.
- The Summer Book, Tove Jansson. A grandmother and a girl on a tiny island for one summer. Almost nothing happens, and I didn't want it to end.
- Wanderlust, Rebecca Solnit. A history of walking. I underlined half of it, and now I walk to work twice a week.
- An Everlasting Meal, Tamar Adler. A cookbook with no pictures that I read like a novel. It is the reason for Sunday soup.
October's pile is already taller than my lamp. The whole list lives on my reading page.
